If I had kids I would just teach them to read as they grow up, spend time with them and observe the world around, teach them difference between opinion and fact and then do some homeschooling in their 10-13 years, then they have plenty of time to choose what they want to do in college or work at getting accepted at a university via aptitude testing. Anything they want to learn can be learned on the internet now, pre-college schooling is obsolete
