No. It is hype.

"Stage 3: Time reversal. A special program modifies the state of the quantum computer in such a way that it would then evolve "backwards," from chaos toward order. This operation is akin to the random microwave background fluctuation in the case of the electron, but this time, it is deliberately induced. An obviously far-fetched analogy for the billiards example would be someone giving the table a perfectly calculated kick."

It is 'calculating' in reverse. They are manipulating the computer to reverse a state. In a regular computer, this is like flipping a bit from 0 to 1 and back, but in quantum computers all the states between 0 and 1 are also available. So they started the transformation of 0 to 1 and reversed it before it got there.

Time is an illusion of changing states. It doesn't actually exist. There is no yesterday or tomorrow. There is only now.

You do not exist 5 minutes ago nor one minute from now, only in a changing state NOW.

There is not 200 pounds of me now, and another 200 pounds of me 4 hours ago, and another 200 pounds of me 2 hours ago, and onther 200 pounds on me 1 hour ago.. and.. and … and..

The primary mistake does not come from making mathematical MODELS of reality, but in interpreting those MODELS as reality. The reason models change is because they are not complete in describing reality.

This observation actually supports the inverse model of reality, where a void is a hyperdense crystal and the plank particle is a discontinuity in the crystal. In this model all properties belong to and are described by the geometry of the crystal. All the properties are related because they are 'owned' by the same 'thing'.

In this case the anticipated event did not occur because a reversing force affected it before it hit the 'event' threshold for stability in the new quantum (geometric) state.
