The vax debate lb motivated me to write something I've intended in a long time.

 

Not disputing the need to test, monitor, and ensure the complete safety of vaccines. That's a given.

 

However, most people alive in the US have grown up with the extreme historical luxury of never encountering the infectious diseases that are targets of the common vaccines.

 

Just grab a person mid-60s and older and ask them what it was like when smallpox was still in circulation. Ask them for thewir first hand observations of how polio affects its victim. Ask them also about all the rest like Rubella, Pertussis, mumps, hepatitis, etc. This will be an informative experience b/c as the situation seems to be progressing, those days will return perhaps sooner than later.
