It's interesting that that Denver news station chose to highlight this old story today. Though given that it was posted at 3:14 am local time, it seems likely that the intention was to have some kind of "math story" to cover on Pi Day.

 

What I find even more interesting, personally, is the event itself. Given that the mission was specifically designed to study the climate of Mars, I find it highly likely that it was deliberately sabotaged – since data showing that the climate of Mars is changing in tandem with that of Earth (due to solar effects) would be decidedly inconvenient for the would-be totalitarians who are seeking to use "climate change" and the supposed need to regulate carbon emissions as a pretext for an even more radical globalist takeover of the world economy.
