I think you're severely overestimating the love for Clinton and Obama on the left. Most people knew Obama was worthless when he failed to put any bankers in jail. The reason Obama won in the 08 election was because of a Bush being such a terrible president. Remember Clinton also ran in 08 and lost just like she lost in 2016. There will always be true believers on both sides, that's just the nature of things, but they're not nearly as numerous as many of you seem to think.
