"Eight people have been indicted by a federal grand jury, part of one of the most violent drug dealing organizations Berks County authorities have ever seen, authorities said Thursday.

Berks County District Attorney John. T. Adams said the group was involved in shootings, kidnappings and murders, as well threats and planned shootings.

“We have repeatedly stated that this has been the most violent drug organization that we have ever encountered,” Adams said at a news conference Thursday."
