Did you know that AB540 students, which are:
Students, including those undocumented, must meet all the following requirements to be considered for AB 540 eligibility:
Three full-time years of attendance or a combined equivalent at the following:
California high school
California adult school
California community college
Alternatively
Three years of California high school level (CLAIMED) coursework and three years of (CLAIMED) attendance at a California elementary or (CLAIMED) secondary school, or any combination of the two.
Or meet one of the following:
Successful graduation from a California high school or equivalent (GED).
Obtained an Associate's Degree from a California community college.
Fulfill transfer requirements from a California community college to a UC or a CSU (Such as IGETC certification).
Now then, for some reason, and I have never once seen this mentioned anywhere, ever, not even once, but for some reason (attached picture) the AB540 students in CA are given:
1) Their entirely own section called the "AB540 Center" (what the hell is this in relation to a college campus?)
2) Their own study/research area which NO other student has access too as the AB540 students get special access ID. What the fuck is this?
3) Their own dorms set apart from the other students.
Okay seriously anons. I know the generic answer here is "catering to illegals" but, logically consider this for a moment while ALSO considering the recent revelations about the pay for college scam. From an outside observer this seriously feels like a literal foreign indoctrination and planning zone. Why the fuck else would they give them those specific things and then place safeguards so no other students can access them? What are they afraid of exactly?
If any UC students are here, please expand on this because I think this is something really big and needing oversight given what we currently know and if we add the UC system slush fund worth millions of dollars which went public a year ago.
These three issues is how we break the issues within the education system, we have to get on these.
