Haiti’s Ministry of Health finally gave in and officially announced the beginning of a vaccination campaign against cholera, after one year of pressure from the United Nations’ Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and the recent takeover of Haiti’s prime-ministerial position by Clinton aide and UN employee Garry Conille.

Cholera is eminently curable, and the cure is clean water.

If Haitians are still getting cholera at the rate of over 10,000 a month, this is because they are continuing to drink surface water from sources previously considered safe but that have become contaminated. So why are the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), Paul Farmer, and Partners in Health (PIH) so eager to administer vaccines to Haitians and so slow to promote waste treatment and water purification?

By contrast to MSF and PIH, 900 Cuban health experts, working out of their mobile medical units in 40 Haitian communities, are promoting disease prevention. So far, Cuban Medical aid to Haiti has been vastly more successful than aid from NGOs.

As an example, consider the massive post-earthquake aid contributed by Cuba’s relatively small staff.

Chelsea Clinton was and still is profoundly silent about the US-led occupation and oppression in Haiti. Haitians were hurt, dying and shut out by the Internationals holding meetings after meetings Haitians were not allowed into. It still goes on. It’s not the past. It’s not in the past.

In Haiti, US aid is about US theft. US corporate welfare. US destruction in Haiti. Those who think differently, are either part of the crippling problem of white domination or misdirecting the public for their own selfish interests.

Chelsea Clinton wrote that the international “incompetence was mind numbing.” But, Haitians in Brooklyn say they’re sure Bill and Hillary probably paid for Chelsea Clinton’s lavish 2010 wedding, out of the kind of monies that came with the Haiti power her parents wielded.

It’s not the Crisis Caravan’s incompetence that’s mind numbing. It’s their fake innocence. It’s the deliberate disaster capitalism and its corporate welfare destructiveness. It’s the constant Clintonesque plausible deniability and flagrant impunity. That, is what’s mind numbing to Haitians.

Chelsea’s Mom and Dad, treacherously led the US tyranny against a hurting, quake-ravaged, vulnerable, grief-stricken Haiti population. The Obama Administration was supposed to be better than the George W. Bush administration which took down Haiti’s democratically elected president and brought in the UN proxy army in 2004. But it was worst. Obama deported more Haitians back to quake and cholera-ravaged Haiti while handing Haiti to the Clintons as the consolation prize for Hillary losing the White House to Obama. The Clinton dynasty, its Foundation, the UN, the World Bank, USAID contractors and the NGOs raked in billions. Over $10 billion was collected by the Clintons, Mom and Dad, for quake relief that Haitians never saw. The US occupation, its colonial terrors, lies, thievery, inhumanity, violence, fake elections, massive UN rapes, ethnic cleansing, Haiti peasant lands expropriated, even the Clintons/Obama silence on Dominican Republic denationalization, are all ignored by the media, clearly demonstrating how purposefully the media plays up the images it wants to play up, and suppresses the ones it wishes to suppress.

I hooked up with slam poets I’d not seen since Bush regime change 2004 interrupted my flow to come head up Èzili’s HLLN to give voice to those the greedy Western vampires had brutally silenced or turned into Bourgie ghouls.

This session with all the best performance poets from the Tri-State area was organized by the Haitian-Dominican who caught my show years ago when he was starting out. I feel seismic old. Take down the Vampire’s Black collaborators; still had that kryptonite for the white saviors, from the Left, from the Right, who had killed the bi-centennial and woke up Dantò?

As friends took to the stage, I freestyled in my head. Scratched notes down on a napkin not to lose the moment’s honesty cause Ginen has got to step up even if words are not big enough. Tears, not grief enough. Got to step up. Even when the mind, the heart, the spirit is not big enough to absorb the shock of 310,000 of us dead in 33 seconds in the apocalyptic earthquake, the shock of thousands upon thousands who were maimed and paralyzed. We already make it in hardship on a daily basis. Haiti's people continue to resist the return of despots, tyrants and enslavers who wage war on the poor majority and Black, contain-them-in-poverty through neocolonialism' debts, free trade and foreign "investments."
