Reminds me of Kamala Harris’s attempt to introduce a bill that ensures federal punishment for lynching, a historic, once dreadful blight that hasn’t been a scourge in our country for decades.
Is Harris perhaps concerned there could be an uptick in angry mob justice? If so, I would emplore her or anyone who shares such concern to do the right thing and turn themselves in to authorities who will ensure American Rule of Law is delivered swiftly.
Either way, they can’t beat the heat, neither in court nor in the street.
