Curious, will enabling tree view be helpful in a live bread, or is it best for reviewing old loafs?

Trying to figure out whether new posts appear only in tree view with replied posts, or if you would need to physically view them (as in non-tree) for them to then jump into tree view post-view.

Hope this makes sense.
