Loaded with piety, tears, and flapdoodle, 12 GOP senators proudly voted to halt President Trump's declaration of a "state of emergency" at the U.S. border as migrant caravan after migrant caravan after migrant caravan from Central America and beyond prepare to roll into the states through our porous border, and cartel human smugglers prepare for a big cash flow to themselves, the better to wreak havoc on Mexico and Central America.

Utah Senators Mitt Romney and Mike Lee, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Missouri Sen. Roy Blunt, Tennessee Sen. Lamar Alexander, Ohio Sen. Rob Portman, Pennsylvania Sen. Pat Toomey, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, Kansas Sen. Jerry Moran, Mississippi Sen. Roger Wicker, plus the usuals, Maine's Sen. Susan Collins and Alaska's Sen. Lisa Murkowski, all made their Democratic colleagues in the Senate very, very happy with that vote cast against President Trump. Proud of yourselves, Utah?

Southern Poverty Law Center Amasses $518M War Chest, $121M Now Offshore

The Southern Poverty Law Center is fabulously wealthy and getting richer and richer by the year according to their latest tax forms.

From the Free Beacon:

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a far-left nonprofit known for its "hate group" designations, has surpassed a half billion dollars in total assets and now has $121 million parked offshore, according to the group's most recent financial statements.

[…]According to the filings submitted to California's Office of Attorney General, the group reported total assets of $518 million from November 2017 to the Oct. 31, 2018, an increase of $41 million from the $477 million in total assets it reported on its previous year's tax forms.

The SPLC's assets increased despite its total revenue falling by $15 million last year. The SPLC hauled in $136 million in total revenue throughout 2017. This number fell to $121 million in 2018. Its contributions and grants also fell by more than $20 million from 2017 to 2018, from $132 million to $111 million.

Russia Detains Hundreds Of Illegal Migrants In Massive Show Of Force

The Russian Federation launched a massive raid on illegal migrants in-country during a 3am raid, detaining hundreds.

The reason for the raid is not clear; similar arrests happened before the World Cup. RFERL reports recent polls have shown Russian citizens want migrants deported as economic conditions worsen for the middle class.

British MP Thinks All Knives Should Have GPS Trackers To Combat Crime

I can’t tell you how many British people I’ve had try to lecture me over the superiority of gun control laws in the UK. They say over and over that they don’t have gun crime which proves gun control works.

But they typically leave out that their knife crime rate shot through the damn roof.

Now, one enterprising Member of Parliament has a plan. A bold, revolutionary plan! One that even Wiley Coyote might approve!

Yeah, it is that bad.

All knives sold in the United Kingdom should have a GPS tracker attached to them, according to a Conservative MP.

Scott Mann, who represents North Cornwall, called for the move on Thursday as a potential means to reduce knife crime.

Writing on Twitter, Mr Mann said: “Every knife sold in the UK should have a gps tracker fitted in the handle. It’s time we had a national database like we do with guns.

“If you’re carrying it around you had better have a bloody good explanation, obvious exemptions for fishing etc.
