Got a busy work-day today, so I'm only following the top level data as it drops. If I've missed discussion on this topic, I apologize. This being said, I have to weigh in here on this one Q drop while I have opportunity.
In order to be cautious, I can only say I have nearly two decades experience in both media and aid circles. As such, nothing that's come out regarding UNHCR, OXFAM, Red Cross, CF, and others, is particularly surprising to someone in this field. Spend time on the ground in a country where any one of probably two or three dozen different large scale NGOs are working, and you'll hear some pretty dark shit from around the world. At the same time, there are some very good programs out there, often working in parallel with the bad orgs, that help a lot of people.
However, and this is a big HOWEVER, if you're going to imply a systemic child abduction and trafficking model, potentially one that may include some of the really dark stuff we've been exploring, there is an extreme need for high quality supporting data. Thin coincidental correlations with email traffic, or outreach locations isn't near enough to convince the general public (and doesn't even come close to the size of the Red Pill required to convince the aid community.) The community of professionals who support outreach models, all the way up to State, are some of the most confirmation biased, self-reinforcing individuals you can possibly imagine. If they're not that, they're deeply corrupt or too entwined to the model to self-examine.
So I say this to Q, or to anons doing the research; supporting data has to be extremely compelling to trigger the genesis of a Focal Point around this. Truthfully, the initial crumb should be a high-level data point from Gov. or a large NGO if this were possible. Building a case on shit data will, at best, turn many passionate people away from belief. Worse yet, significant collateral damage is possible, if the data used implies incorrect causation or correlation.
I have come to "trust the plan", but I would implore Q to not leave this data set entirely to Anons. It would be far better to correlate the open source data upon a foundation of strongly supportable factual data from a generally trusted source.
