JOHN MCCAIN ASSOCIATE HAD CONTACT WITH A DOZEN REPORTERS REGARDING STEELE DOSSIER

David Kramer, a former State Department official, revealed in a court deposition that he had contact with a dozen reporters regarding the infamous Steele dossier.

Kramer, a longtime associate of John McCain, was BuzzFeed’s source for the dossier, which alleges a conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Kremlin.

Kramer provided the dossier to CNN’s Carl Bernstein, as well as to several government officials, including Obama National Security Council official Celeste Wallander and Illinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger.

An associate of late Arizona Sen. John McCain described in detail his contacts with a dozen journalists and several government officials regarding the infamous Steele dossier, according to a transcript of a court deposition unsealed Thursday.

David Kramer, a former State Department official, said in a deposition on Dec. 13, 2017 that he provided a copy of Christopher Steele’s dossier to reporters from McClatchy, NPR, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and BuzzFeed and CNN’s Carl Bernstein.

He also shared the report with State Department official Victoria Nuland, Obama National Security Counsel official Celeste Wallander and Illinois GOP Rep. Adam Kinzinger.

In the deposition, Kramer suggests that Steele and Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson sought to use him and McCain as conduits to pass the dossier to the FBI.

Sir Andrew Wood, a former British diplomat, first briefed Kramer and McCain in November 2016 on the dossier, authored by Steele. Kramer flew to London on Nov. 29, 2016 to meet with Steele. The next day, in the U.S., he obtained a copy of the dossier from Simpson. On Dec. 9, 2016, McCain briefed then-FBI Director James Comey on the salacious report.

Kramer said he believed McCain was sought out in order to provide more “oomph” in terms of attracting the FBI’s attention.

“I think they felt a senior Republican was better to be the recipient of this rather than a Democrat because if it were a Democrat, I think that the view was that it would have been dismissed as a political attack,” said Kramer.

In some cases, according to the deposition, Kramer shared the dossier with reporters with Steele’s and Simpson’s knowledge.

Kramer said Steele asked him to meet with CNN’s Bernstein and BuzzFeed’s Ken Bensinger.

BuzzFeed published the dossier on Jan. 10, 2017. The website made the controversial decision hours after CNN, in a story co-authored by Bernstein, reported that then-President-elect Donald Trump had been briefed on the salacious allegations in the dossier on Jan. 6, 2017.

“I met with Mr. Bernstein at Mr. Steele’s request. And I believe Mr. Bernstein had been in touch with Mr. Steele and so Mr. Steele asked me if I would meet with him and talk with him about it. Since Bernstein was in the U.S. and Steele was in London,” said Kramer, who was an executive at the McCain Institute.

U.S. AMBASSADOR CAUSES GERMANY TO DEPORT PFLP TERRORIST FROM COUNTRY

BERLIN - A strongly worded statement from Richard Grenell, the US ambassador to Germany, caused the German government to cancel an event on Friday with a convicted Palestinian terrorist who murdered two Israeli students.

Berlin’s department for interior announced in a statement on Friday that they barred Rasmea Odeh from speaking in the capital and revoked her visa. The German authorities said Odeh must immediately leave the Schengen Area that is comprised of 26 European nations.

According to the interior department’s statement, Odeh was barred from speaking because “the political activity of a foreigner may be limited or prohibited, as far as it affects the political decision making in the Federal Republic of Germany or the peaceful coexistence of Germans and foreigners or of various groups of foreigners in the federal territory, public safety and order or other significant interests of the Federal Republic of Germany or endangered.”

The Trump administration’s most high-profile ambassador, Grenell, told Fox News on Thursday: “The rise of antisemitism around the world is very troubling. Some people plant the seeds of antisemitism while others water it and help it grow. Offering a public speaking role to a Palestinian terrorist convicted of murder, terrorism and immigration fraud legitimizes antisemitism at a time when we should be condemning it."

He added: “I join the chorus of others who have raised their voices in Berlin standing against antisemitism no matter where it’s found.”

Fox News wrote “US ambassador urges Germany to bar entry of convicted Palestinian terrorist.”

Grenell’s criticism blanketed large German dailies on Friday, including the country’s top-selling newspaper, Bild.

The Post learned that Germany’s alleged tolerance for terrorists played a role in the release. In February, the German government defied an American extradition order and released the Turkish terrorist Adem Yilmaz, responsible for the murder of two American service members.. According to Bloomberg, the acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker issued an “unusual rebuke of an ally for sending the man to Turkey. Germany's foreign ministry and President Frank-Walter Steinmeier celebrated the Islamic Republic of Iran's revolution last month.

The convicted Palestinian terrorist Rasmea Odeh, was slated to speak at a conference organized by an antisemitic BDS alliance on “Palestinian Women Fighting for Liberation” in Berlin on Friday.

Notes for my next column after going over the Kramer deposition:

1. The Steele dossier was never supposed to become a public document.

It was meant to be a 'deep background' source for strategic leaks by the media reporters Kramer/Steele/Simpson leaked it to.

1. Before the election, the Steele dossier was a deep background source shown to media reporters so they could engage in a series of strategic leaks alleging Russian collusion targeting Trump & his campaign team.

Resulting media frenzy would discredit Trump's campaign.

1. Once the media frenzy was underway and enough media reports were alleging 'evidence' of Trump campaign/Russia collusion, the Clinton/Obama Machine partisans inside the federal agencies would USE these media stories based on the Steele dossier to launch investigations of Trump.

2. This symbiotic relationship of strategic leaks based on Steele's dossier that targeted Trump & associates that then led to investigations being started at the DOJ/FBI was supposed to damage Trump's campaign & render him impotent.

It didn't work.

Trump won anyway.

1. During the transition phase from Nov. to late January, the strategy of the SpyGate plotters changed to using the Steele Dossier as an 'insurance policy' they could 'cash in' to drive Trump from office, or at the very least handicap his adminsitration until he lost in 2020.

2. To make this new strategy work, the SpyGate plotters fully intended to continue escalating the symbiotic relationship already established:

Strategic leaks using the Steele dossier as a background source coupled with escalating investigations from federal agencies.

1. As long as the Steele Dossier was kept back and hidden from sight, media reporters could continue launching vague leaks of it's allegations that targeted Trump & associates. Fed. agencies in the hands of Clinton/Obama partisans could use these escalating leaks to drive probes.
