not so, in the beginning back on 4 chan, we were advised to have a two week supply of food and water 'just in case'. It doesn't take but a second for the DS to flip switches and end power to the people to enact riots. WE will know whats going on, but others won't…hence be prepared to do a lot of teaching to your neighbors ans guarding what YOU have. 2 weeks is a long time without power nowadays.
