regarding slavery act pages showing up on sites for hospitals and other establishments that make you go "hmmmm.. really?!" I keep seeing this pop up here and there on pages for entities all over the globe. My impression is this is likely a matter of new regulatory compliance (e.g. for a biz to receive funds in the form of aid from X (U.S.A?) they must demonstrate they are on top of their shit because "muh reeeee we had no idea here at HQ what middle management was doing to solve those labor shortages on site" right now I am about to see if I can sauce this and next utterance will be sauce or gtfo on me.
