Steganography - Secret Hidden Messages In Plain Sight

I was reading through the latest espionage case and it mentioned others that were also caught up in the sting. One of them was using steganography to hide messages which got me thinking… Maybe those cryptic photos about Comeys dog and the Mockingbird post as well as Donna Brazilles Boo were examples of this type of communication. Anyone know how to check these images?

I also watched this video on how it's done and things it may be used for. At the end the speaker mentions how a digital watermark can be added to documents to track who is leaking sensitive material. Hmmm…… I wonder if this is how the leakers in the government will be caught?
