That is an excellent point i had not even thought of. Not sure if the lights are common enough to use or if it is to fuck with frame by frame analysis because the light is set to change every frame on and off.

Might have to do with the equalization of the light exposure because its not every frame a blink it is in some frames though so that could mean special effects editing the footage.
