Since Q, provided the "Hackers" data point & the revelations about Beta O'Rourke connects w/ Cult of Dead Cow (cDc) & L0pht (aka loft &10ft) today.
Half the cDc hackers were in L0pht– Mudge (joined the Goolag after DARPA ( CTO of Darpa rumor has it)), SpaceRogue, DillDog, etc. went to work with Chris Darby at his co. @stake (well-known internet security consulting firm acquired by Symantec).
