John Perry Barlow was previously affiliated with the European Graduate School in Saas-Fee, Switzerland as a "professor of cyberspace".

EGS

In the US, the State of Texas includes the European Graduate School on its published list of institutions that issue "fraudulent or substandard degrees" and notes that it is illegal to use an EGS degree to obtain employment within the state.

Teaching is mostly remote, with required attendance for short periods at the school; ad hoc meetings in various cities also take place.
