Six killed as suicide bombers in women’s clothing attack people fleeing Islamic State’s last Syria zone
Three suicide attackers in women’s clothing killed six people leaving the last Islamic State enclave in eastern Syria on Friday in simultaneous blasts, the US-backed forces besieging the area said.
The attack appears to be the first to target the many thousands of people who have poured out of the enclave at Baghouz over the five weeks since the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) began an offensive there.

The Pentagon Reportedly Needs $14.1 Billion For A Space Force
The U.S. Department of Defense is seeking $14.1 billion to invest in the creation of the country's Space Force.
The department is also requesting $72.4 million to establish the Space Force headquarters as proposed by President Donald Trump.

Last June 2018, Trump made a surprise announcement during a National Space Council meeting regarding the establishment of a Space Force for U.S. space dominance.
Now, the U.S. Department of Defense is requesting $14.1 billion to bring the idea to fruition. The $14.1 billion would be used to accelerate the development of space operations, including satellites, missile warning systems, and national security programs.

SK Chemicals executive arrested in humidifier sterilizer scandal
An executive of SK Chemicals Co. has been arrested on the charge of destroying evidence on the toxicity of raw materials for humidifier sterilizers supplied to other local companies, court officials said Friday.
The Seoul Central District Court reviewed arrested warrants requested for three executives and one employee of the SK Group affiliate amid prosecutors' expanding investigation into the humidifier sterilizer scandal and approved one, for Park Cheol, senior vice president of SK Chemicals.
Arrest warrants for three other officials were not granted by the court. The four officials appeared before the Seoul court on Thursday for a hearing on the legality of their arrest warrants.
Judge Song Kyung-ho put 53-year-old Park under arrest, saying his criminal charges were confirmed and there is a chance that the suspect may destroy evidence.

2020 Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke was forced Friday to offer two apologies, one for a campaign joke about how he and his wife raise their children and another about an edgy short story about running over kids that he wrote when he was 15.
In a taping of the “Political Party Live” podcast in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he apologized for a campaign joke he made on a number of occasions – in which he quipped that his wife, Amy, raised their children “sometimes with my help.”
