Slippery slope. Turns out, free speech zones dont beleive in hate speech. Turns out, a majority of people out there buy into hate speech being a thing.
8ch as a site can be pretty dark. It can be "out there". It can be racy and risque as it gets. To be completely honest with you, a majority of anons (especially the new folks) would probably actually gasp at some of the places on this site.
That's why it's perfect for this board. It is a 100% free speech zone. People have just forgotten what free speech actually is, and that in and of itself is a shocker to most. Free speech doesnt necessarily mean "Look at my tits!", but it does mean I can say "Muhammad may have been a glowfag", and people either agree with the statement or they dont. Free speech doesnt necessarily mean I can post the type of thing youd see on /zoo/ (there are laws against that), but it protects me when when I want to write a fictional novel called "Niggers come in all colors" (apologies to anyone that take offense to that term; which, btw, is an anagram for gingers).
So, if you wanted to write a hit piece on why 8Chan is a breeding ground for degenerates, there's a veritable stockpile of ammo yiu could pick from. If you wanted to say this board in particular is like that, youd be hard pressed to make a case, because our mission statement is at the top of every fucking bread.
