Retired watch commander for a very large urban sheriff's office in a very high crime city. I've been to countless shootings…the less notable and agendized variety.
I watched that video and felt sorry for the ones who paid for it…it was THAT BAD. The total BS flag moment was when he gave an anchor shot to the head of a downed 'victim' and very close range with a rifle.
Let's just say that would've been extremely gruesome…extremely. Yet, no blood splatter.
The whole thing looked totally fake. Video games are more realistic than that. Rifles do grievous damage, especially at close range. Large body counts would've resulted in a near slaughterhouse effect. Yet it was just a scripted acting session to my estimation.
I literally have no idea how many shooting scenes I've been to…when you're the watch commander, you go to all of them. So, yeah…it didn't look like ANY I've been to.
