I know it's been noted, but I did some extra digging on NZ shooting.
Student activists from Marjorie Stoneman Douglas (MSD) travel to Christchurch NZ in/around July of 2018. They met with members of the Student Volunteer Army (SVA) to talk about the power of student organizations in times of crisis.
Then, in/around November 2018, members of the SVA come from New Zealand to Florida to meet with the student activists from MSD to "learn how to sustain organisations once the public attention has waned" and produce a white paper on "how-to-guide for organising youth movements, 10 Essential Lessons: Sustaining a Youth Movement". What are the odds…. and Josh Blackmore? He's a lawyer.

Twenty-three survivors of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida are coming to Christchurch to meet with the Student Volunteer Army (SVA). The students will arrive in July to talk about the power of student organisations in times of crisis.
The Parkland survivors are spending a week in New Zealand to share experiences with the Christchurch students and to learn how to sustain organisations once the public attention has waned. The president of the Student Volunteer Army, Josh Blackmore, talks to Philippa Tolley.

Student Volunteer Army to reconnect with Parkland students in Florida
Twelve youth leaders from the University of Canterbury’s Student Volunteer Army (SVA) are reconnecting with students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School (MSD) in the United States, this month from 26 November to 8 December. The two student groups met at the University of Canterbury-hosted Youth Leadership Summit in Christchurch in July and produced a white paper/how-to-guide for organising youth movements, 10 Essential Lessons: Sustaining a Youth Movement.
