Trump struggled with Mafia interference of his NYC construction projects
Reducing Mafia power in NYC would have helped his bottom line
Plus his casino projects probably had resistance from them
Just a theory but I'm guessing he didn't like dealing with them
and working with the FBI removed his biggest competition
