Been around for awhile
I went to Disney World when I was 13, back in the 1970s
The haunted house had holograms and I thought it was the coolest thing

I'm thinking our primal instincts of fight, flight, or freeze are influenced by our subconscious, based on our previous experiences, as a survival skill, are being manipulated to our detriment. In other words, against our instincts of survival.
I would just walk around the house repeating my speech over and over. Like an actor rehearsing lines.
The day of the speech I would have notecards with bullet points, but mostly as a crutch bc I mostly had the thing memorized.
It comes off more natural that way.

Little known fact about St Patrick
He was actually English, and as a young man was sold into slavery in Ireland.
Somehow he escaped or earned his freedom and went back to England.
But he returned to Ireland as a missionary, to teach the gospel to the heathens there.
Irish people in Ireland don't celebrate St Patrick's day
American Irish people celebrate St. Patrick's day.
It's a pretty big deal in Chicago. They dye the Chicago river green and have a big parade.
