I've chased this problem on a couple of other topics that I was investigating before….

Here's what's happening:

Google is listing the date that the original page was published. But the website itself contains a section that shows links to other current stores on the website.

When Google comes by later and re-indexes the page after it's initial scrape, the section of the site that links to current stories now contains text about things that happened long AFTER the page was initially published. But google updates its cache of the page. And now it looks like the page published information before the event happened (even though that's not the case)

I'll work on confirming that's the case in this instance and work on getting some pics to spell it out clearly soon.
