I never pushed for the IBOR. My take was the the push was just to show us how the Whitehouse daught gove administrators were cooking the survey. Numbers would rise and then fall. None of the petitions ever got that many signatiorees.
As far as 'clowns', if you are a good person most of them are going to go 'Booogggaaa boooogggaaa boooogggaaa' and then slink off and realize that you aren't a threat, like someone dressed up in a suit and jumping out of a full sized Jack-in-the-Box.

I endured Santa watching me for the first 10 years of my life, so I think that knowing that comms are often monitored really doesn't bother me.
plus they are probably smart. If they lurk here they will learn something.
