Previously Deported Illegal Alien Crashes Car Into Louisiana State Trooper, Charged With Second DWI

An illegal alien was arrested Saturday morning after authorities say he drunk drove his car down a Louisiana freeway and ultimately crashed into a Louisiana State Police vehicle.

The suspect in question, Melgar Cardona, had been previously deported from the United States and was considered a fugitive by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The crash occurred at 5:30 AM in the middle of an active work zone on I-210 Westbound after his 2005 Toyota veered into a state trooper's car.

According to KPLC NBC 7 News, Cardona "was uncooperative and provided Troopers with fake names and fake ID but Troopers were able to determine his actual identity."

Cardona had previously been charged with a DWI, making this his second offense. In total, Cardona was charged with a "DWI second offense, careless operation of a motor vehicle, not having a driver’s license, operating a motor vehicle without lawful presence in the United States, possession of fraudulent document for identification purposes, and resisting an officer by providing a false identity."

Nolte: Reuters Reporter Covered Up Damaging Beto Info During Texas Senate Race

A Reuters reporter admits he offered to hide damaging information about Beto O’Rourke during the Democrat’s tight Senate race against Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX).

On Friday morning, Reuters journalist Joseph Menn broke the news that, as a teen, O’Rourke, who is now a freshly-minted 2020 presidential candidate, was part of a secret hacking group known as the Cult of the Dead Cow.

Since publication, Reuters has also been forced to admit their reporter, who was on leave at the time, knew all about O’Rourke’s hacker past during the 2018 Texas Senate race but offered not to reveal it until after the race:

Jewish voters are furious at Dems’ defense of Ilhan Omar

Jewish voters furious at Democrats’ defense of Rep. Ilhan Omar say they’re done with the party that has held their support for generations.

“We felt we had a home there,” said Mark Schwartz, the Democratic deputy mayor of solidly blue Teaneck, NJ. “And now we feel like we have to check our passports.”

Jordan Manor of Manhattan, who calls himself a “gay Jewish Israeli-American,” laments, “The party I thought cared about me seems to disregard me when it comes to my Jewish identity.”

Mark Dunec, a consultant in Livingston, NJ who ran for Congress as a Democrat in 2014, says, “I’m physically afraid for myself and for my family,” adding, “I see my own party contributing to the rise of anti-Semitism in the United States.”

Omar, a freshman congresswoman from Minnesota, sparked the firestorm in February for using anti-Jewish tropes: saying that support for Israel was “all about the Benjamins” and accusing Jewish-American legislators of “dual loyalty.”

Many, including some fellow Democrats, deemed her comments anti-Semitic — but the party’s lefty activists pushed back.

Among his Teaneck neighbors, Schwartz said, “Our only question now is, do we start voting Republican, or do we become Republicans?”

Others say they feel like the wandering Jew of legend.

“I’m homeless. I don’t think I can vote for Trump, even though he’s great for Israel,” said Jason, a start-up owner from Long Island who asked that his surname not be used. “But as a Jew, I can’t see a way to support the Democratic Party. It’s supporting your own destruction.”
