These past few days I can't get out of my head the phrase "symbolism will be their downfall." Particularly what symbol and/or symbols will make the public stand up and take notice?
What I wouldn't give for 5 minutes with XKEYSCORE or its replacement. I have so many questions that I'd like answers to.

It deals with American geopolitical strategizing regarding Europe and Asia and whatnot. IIRC, the term "Axis of Evil" was coined in that book. It's been 20 years since I read it so it's not that fresh in my mind.
