Adrian, Daniel and Ester described the mortal black pudding as 'quite tasty'. "We taste so good," chuckled Ester. Each morcilla requires about 40 millimetres of blood. The filling is made out of stir-fried onions, rice and the all-important ingredient: sanguine fluid. The sausages are branded as 'vegan' because, in his eyes, no animals products are used in the process. The option is also open to "curious persons who like to experience new things." The chef admits that the sausage could be seen as an example of cannibalism, but defends it nonetheless. "What we are doing is tasting a body fluid, that repairs itself, so in any case it could be called auto-cannibalism or an auto-anthropophagy," he explained.
