Why did select senior members of the D party [6] send a letter to Don McGahn in early Oct. outlining 'Hatch Act' violations re: Q?

FOIA works in this situation.

Anybody know the correct department to send this FOIA request. The office I sent request to finally just got back to me to let me know it's wrong department.

Thank you anon. I will take a look. In the response I got they told me that I may want to consult with the Presidential Records Act for the records I seek. When I look that act up it talks about getting records after the President is out of office. So no help.
