What obligates an employer to provide health insurance? Costs more…limits consumer choice..encourages people not to do diligence.. Makes people dependent on performing a specific process orientated task for general lifestyle.

Dont take responsibility for yourself. Just assume your employer knows how to get you the best and cheapest coverage. They're so smart they've employed you.
