Some believe that the gun change and repeat of mosque was to switch to live ammo and scene staged with wax props and such for his gruesome appearing revisit. Explains anomalies with socks / shoes / placement etc. Perhaps not live and edited scenes together ? Don’t know. Just one angle I’ve read.
