Humans evolved in small groups, you simply cannot care about everyone type a message to behind a screen.
The internet is making everyone have a conniption because they are comparing themselves to 7 billion people rather than the normal small group we evolved in
This is leading to “projection” of this insecurity by defaulting to “care” about every living organism on the earth. (Besides fetuses, obly)
This leads to less “caring” for themselves or the small group around them that they should care about because the ones around them share similar interests.
