The constant attempt to stifle mention of previous posts, recent history, and further back is suspect. Most people don't live on this board, let alone know the events that have shaped this country and world, and news reports / notables are the perfect opportunity to plug in related past details to lift the veil of ignorance that has been thrown over people's eyes to the larger picture.
This place is supposed to be about people regaining their power. Knowledge is power.
