Does "hosting" / "platform" not imply a "hands off" approach to the content on said platform?

Making decisions or implementing tools to decide what gets promoted, what is visible, what gets throttled — those are editorial decisions. That is not much different than a newspaper editor deciding what's going on the front page, what guest pieces go in the op-ed section etc.

Not only would it be a distraction for funeral, all the obligatory fawning media tributes, but then you would have the clown show of new SCOTUS nominee confirmation hearings ("Kavanaugh Part II: More Blood"). That would easily take up weeks, and surely they could find lots more character assassination witnesses to make it drag on longer if necessary.
