>This is big anon. Something is afoot.

Agree.

Grenell is acting in Germany in a manner, which angers and provokes the Germans.

I'm pretty sure, Grenell COULD be way more diplomatic, but he isn't.

Why?

Unfortunately, he acts in a way that makes the German citizizens(!) angry at the US and makes them defend(!) Merkel. Which can't be his goal, can it?

(Imagine some ambassador to the US would tell the US what to do/ or what not to do…Americans would be furious.)

Why does Grenell act like a superior to the German government?

He surely could have decided, to be more diplomatic.

But he didn't.

Which makes also the German citizens angry at him and makes them to defend Merkel.

This can't be the goal of Grenell/ Trump.

Do you have an idea, why Grenell acts so provoking

that he is alienating the German citizens, which results in driving the citizens to rush to aid Merkel?

Is Grenell incompetent?

Imo, Trump doesn't want to empower Merkel,

by unifying the citizens with Merkel.

What's going on here?

This is absolutely stupid.
