Photos of Boston marathon bombing were incredibly graphic. News organizations showed the pictures and aftermath over and over and over.

But sharing the video or images from the NZ shooting will get you up to 14 years in prison in NZ.

Why the contradiction?

Gatekeepers. Control of information. Psychological operations and influencing minds.

The news can publish without fear of repercussion, even libel.

But we, the people are not able to share discuss or disseminate without fear of being jailed.
