Sessions needs the law as it is now to to backstop MS-13 arrests and the cabal behind them. POTUS and Sessions are using all the tools they can to fight corruption. Cannabis is collateral damage for now. I think eventually it gets downgraded as a controlled substance and turned over as a States Rights issue.
