Re: this – HOW immediately? Lawyer-immediately (maybe a month, maybe three) or Normal-immediately (today). Immediately is a very subjective word in the legal world.

Preet Bharara predicts '480-page document' from Mueller will leak immediately

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/preet-bharara-predicts-480-page-document-from-mueller-will-leak-immediately

Former U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara expects special counsel Robert Mueller will release a lengthy report detailing his conclusions in the investigation into Russian inference in the 2016 election and possible Trump campaign collusion.

That report, which Bharara speculated would be 480 pages, will be immediately leaked to the press once it’s out of Mueller’s hands, he predicted.

“He could give something bare-bones to [Attorney General William Barr], because he’s said what he was going to say in publicly filed documents and indictments,” Bharara told Politico. “Or, I think it’s slightly more likely — a hunch I have — that he’ll write a very lengthy, detailed document that goes into the prosecutions and the declinations at great length, with a lot of supporting exhibits as well.”

“And once it is known that it’s a 480-page document, then let the games begin,” he said, pulling a number out of thin air.

Bharara is not the only one to succumb to making predictions about the Mueller investigation and its forthcoming report. Media outlets have published stories almost weekly in recent months speculating that Mueller is winding down his investigation.

The special counsel’s office has not publicly said when its probe will conclude or when it will brief the attorney general on its findings.

Justice Department guidelines require Mueller to submit a confidential report to Barr upon completion of the inquiry. The report must explain why prosecutors decided or chose not to bring charges against any matters under investigation. Justice Department regulations do not require Mueller’s report to be shared with Congress or with the public, but the attorney general must file his own report to lawmakers and inform them whether the department prevented Mueller’s team from taking any action.

Geezer Throws Shade At Other Geezers

Washington Post columnist, 78, says Sanders, 77, and Biden, 76, too old to be president

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/washington-post-columnist-78-says-sanders-77-and-biden-76-too-old-to-be-president

Washington Post columnist Richard Cohen, 78, said in a piece published Monday night that both Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden are too old to be president.

"Biden and Sanders have waited too long. A pledge to serve only a single term would not reverse the clock. It would only hobble the president, making him a lame duck before his time," Cohen said in his latest opinion piece. "Of course, the ultimate decision is their own, but they have to know they will probably decline. If they don’t think so, they have gotten old without getting wise."

Cohen joked that people his age have other worries on their mind, and surely both Biden, 76, and Sanders, 77, have those same kinds of thoughts and conversations with their colleagues.

"The joke among people my age is that every dinner party starts with an organ recital: Who’s lost a gall bladder, got a new kidney or maybe just replaced a knee? What’s the pain of the day, and who sleeps through the night?"

Riffing on "comfort zones" among the elderly, Cohen said he "wouldn’t be surprised if Biden thought Snapchat was a breakfast cereal. I wouldn’t be surprised if Sanders thought Drake was the English pirate who defeated the Spanish Armada. (How’s that for being an influencer?)"

Cohen also opined that a president doesn't have to be "intimately familiar with youth culture" but does need to the ability to "translate a thought into politically acceptable language" for the culture that he or she lives in.

The current RealClearPolitics average shows both Biden and Sanders leading the pack in the hunt for the Democratic presidential nomination at 30 percent and 22 percent respectively.
