You're correct some are pretty stupid. The neocons expect the Rep party to return to how it was before Trump. They don't seem to understand the old status quo is no longer acceptable for most Americans. We're in the middle of a war to decide which direction the country will take – right or left.
I watched an interview with Bloomberg today. He predicts Trump will be reelected and described the struggle going on in both parties. For the Reps, he said it was a battle between moderates and the far right. Really? Wanting to save one's country is now far right ideology and wanting to see it continue to be destroyed is moderate? Guess I'm now a member of the far right.
