You'll be better off with silver IMO.
For every ounce of silver above ground roughly 100oz have been sold. Obviously the vast bulk is in paper contracts. When the dollar dies, and it will, it was designed to, the stock and bond markets will tank and people will flee to something substantial like PM's, all those paper contracts will be called in for payment and the true value of silver will be realized.
