Why do you think they made up the story about RR wearing a wire? Why do you think they are trying to launch a second SC? Why did Sessions recuse himself?
Let's say Mueller was doing an honest job. The angry democrats on the SC would be rather leashed, wouldn't they? Or at least collared for one.

Mueller's report is being used to initiate a series of legal actions that must be taken before the report can be made public. Remember, most of this stuff is classified, and even if it wasn't, there are things that can't be stated about ongoing investigations.
