While Dems have spent over a decade pushing through the National Popular Vote Bill, Reps have done nothing as usual. The left only needs 89 more electoral votes to completely neuter the electoral college. Reps could have spent the same time passing legislation in other states to secede from the union if the popular voting state block succeeds in their goal. It's not too late to do this if only the base would find and help elect state politicians who have spines.
