"Government officials in South Korea say the US intelligence chief is visiting the country to discuss the denuclearization of North Korea.
The officials told NHK that Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats arrived in Seoul on Tuesday. They say that Coats will hold talks with South Korean National Intelligence Service Director Suh Hoon on Wednesday and will also visit the presidential office.
It is quite rare for the head of US intelligence to visit South Korea. Observers say Washington intends to share information on moves at North Korea's nuclear and missile facilities."
