This tech is focus and blur tech to assist in making VR more realistic, not make realistic environments and scenes that can be recorded as 'real'.
They are getting better at making deepfakes, however there are so many variables that come into play when a video is faked that with so many eyes on it, the discrepancies are going to float to the surface.
Fixed focus seems like something the photographer would set to avoid the annoying autofocus that would end up bouncing around all over the place.
I can imagine the reasoning behind the lower freq shot sounds, but that doesn't explain the specific shots pointed at the wall with no damage. I can't get past those.

The stream itself is just data. Could be pre-recorded. I wonder if there is a system for scheduling livestreams to place pre-recorded video as live. If so, that might have been what was used.
I do think if he was wearing something like this, we'd see much more shake from recoil.
