Brother anons, I've been monitoring USAF Stratcom on 11.175MHz since it was suggested by someone. Anons later notified me that Q had NOT suggested this.

Because I'm still monitoring Stratcom, my radio is tied up on that channel. It is still one way that @POTUS can send messages without requiring any EAS or other infrastructure. Shortwave is remarkably resilient.

Normal humans can listen to us hamfags using shortwave receivers capable of USB/LSB reception.

My own radio station with 1500w of power can be heard throughout CONUS on the frequencies previously specified: 7.295MHz day, 3.995MHz night.

Hamfagging requires a conversation. Broadcasting is prohibited except during a FCC-declared emergency.

A thought that I've had, and please do not throw brickbats at me, somebody on Q team connects me with USAF so I start checking into their 11.175MHz net. I was a USAF/CAP operator so I know their protocols.

We get the message there, I then take the message to the "storm watch net" on day or night frequency depending on when the message comes.

This adds redundancy. Also, regular hamfags can always LISTEN to USAF. Its the part of talking back to other USAF stations that requires authorization.

Just trying to think of ways to harden the communication system. I responded to the EAS that it is not a rock-solid system. A friend and fellow hamfag is a commercial TV station op and he has regular problems with the EAS systems.

Sad we don't have more woke hamfags :(

Most people start with a chinesium handheld VHF/UHF handheld radio for about $40. The cost to get into shortwave is about $1K for used gear and a wire antenna.

Building with dude wearing red hat on top is looking at a lot of antennas.

That building is much better kept than all the other buildings in the pic.

No satellite dishes so image is either facing N->S or there are none.

Likely tropical climate because of A/C units retrofitted.

2 antennas on nice building appear to be terrestrial SHF - 900MHz band semi-microwave directional. Used some places for Internet or other network.

Women wearing pants with smock-type shirt with or without hood.

Guessing far-east, tropical and very poor.
