The commies and their Bolshevik/Marxist descendents didn't just up and disappear when the Berlin Wall fell, they simply scattered to places like the USA and China, hence the reason we saw such a serious ramp-up of their subversionary tactics beyond the 1990s. They never died out, they're still alive and kicking and they're becoming increasingly obvious to spot by the day.
