Now you understand how famefags work.

They say something confident about the future, hoping that some of it comes true. If it does come to pass they are all over it telling everybody how right they were, and collecting donations to put out the next top secret info that ONLY THE FAMEFAG has.

The sheep pays their money and get betrayed again, because, after all, they are just sheep.

If you want to stop being a sheep, the first step is STOP BEING A SHEEP!!!

Remember Crimea? After a referendum on self-determination the residents voted overwhelmingly to join the Russian Federation.

What if the Haiti has a referendum and the people decide overwhelmingly to petition the USA to to take them into the country? Would they really vote this way? I think that very soon, they will indeed support such a thing.

So what if the United States offers official statehood to Puerto Rico on one condition, that they accept Haiti as part of the territory of their new state.

Yes, I know about the corruption in both Puerto Rico and Haiti but I believe that it will not take long time to deal with this given the size of the two places.

Not sure what would happen in the Dominican Republic but if they want to have a similar referendum, they are welcome to. Self determination means that the people choose their destiny. It would certainly be easier to integrate the whole island as one. And it would fit even better with Puerto Rico due to language and culture.

And if you aren't sure what language to learn, consider Groovy

http:// groovy-lang.org/

It is part of the Java ecosystem so it works well with any Java tools like SOLR and it is a lot easier to learn than Java because of advanced features. If you want to make websites, then it has a framework called Grails that is as powerful as any of the other frameworks on the market.

Another nice thing about using the Java ecosystem is that you can use your code on OSX, or Windows or Linux with no changes.

Code on a powerbook Mac at the coffeeshop and deploy to a Linux server on Amazon AWS for production
