how can such absolute fucking mutants have ever gained so much power over us?

i'm not sure how i feel about horror films these days, but my mind was slightly boggled by the 2018 remake of Suspiria. it seems to tie into what we have been researching in so many ways, down to the argento original, asia argento, bourdain, etc.. some of the ritualistic stuff is fairly disturbing, and, i suspect, authentic. it does cross over into gleeful insanity in a few parts, tho. in the end, the witches don't quite get what they expect. truly something else, only watch if you can handle arty occult horror.
